This year is the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. As a Malaysian national and a student leader of GCO Student Journalist Group, I delved into the intricacies of international communication and the dissemination of new media during the trip. I want to showcase Tsinghua's international students to the world, increase awareness of Tsinghua, and elevate its global profile.
NAVY BLUE
Maryam Pirpiran
✈ Rongjiang, Guizhou, China
“Dong is one of the dominant minority ethnic groups in Rongjiang. The most commonly worn traditional attire of this ethnic group is a rich dark blue. ”

I was impressed by the hospitality of the Dong people. Each time we arrived at a new village, the villagers welcomed us with a bowl of handmade Baijiu (Chinese spirits) and a welcoming song. The journey gave me a better understanding of China, its culture, and ethnic minorities. I aim to continue learning about China through various means and understand the opinions of Chinese people about my country. I want more Iranians to learn about the reality of China and encourage them to visit. I hope to use what I have learned to strengthen the relationship between Iran and China.
SUNLIT
AMBER
Wang Zekun
✈ Milan and Florence, Italy, and Paris, France
“Sunlit Amber is the luminous hue that bathes city streets in a soft, golden glow, reminiscent of sunlight caressing the facades of buildings. It whispers of years steeped in the rich cultural tapestry of Italy and France.”

Our L'Art team participated in the 'Paris Beauté Ville Spring Festival Market' in Belleville on February 3rd. We showcased Chinese couplets and 'Fu' characters and held a charity sale of Tsinghua souvenirs. All proceeds were donated to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. During the event, we met Jorge, a French photography student who was curious about our origins and the couplets. We exchanged contacts and invited him to visit Tsinghua when he travels to Beijing and Shanghai in April. I am excited about his visit!
BLUE
Wang Yushuo
✈ Tokyo, Kyoto, Japan
“In Japan, blue entails the purity of the ocean and sky, a beloved hue among fishermen since the Edo period. With the country's early modernization, the vigorous development of high-tech industries injected a stable and rational blue into its manufacturing culture.”

What impressed me most was the morning I spent with Professor Tomotaka Takahashi at the University of Tokyo. Mr. Takahashi showed us RoBoHoN's hand-drawn designs in pencil, from foam-wood carvings to plastic prototypes to final product shape models, and told us about how much he enjoys drawing and machining models by hand. I've always been interested in the technology and industry development of cutting-edge manufacturing. This visit revealed the humanistic sentiments behind this special "industrial product."
RED
Thao Nguyen (Vietnam)
✈ Jiangmen, Guangdong, China
“Red signifies the deep-rooted patriotism of the global Chinese community, their significant contributions to their homeland, and their dedication to preserving China's rich cultural heritage.”

The visit to Zhuhai Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone as well as Zhuhai Tsinghua Science Park was amazing. It offered a chance for me to grasp Guangdong's strategy to connect top-tiered human and financial assets to foster innovation and the development of high and new technology such as biotechnology, new materials, as well as artificial intelligence and chip design. Established in 2002, the Zhuhai Tsinghua Science Park has emerged as a conduit for deep integration across academia, industry, and research. By capitalizing on Tsinghua's strengths in research, talent cultivation, and international cooperation, the park has successfully incubated 68 high-tech enterprises and propelled 11 companies to become listed on the stock exchanges.
ORANGE
Dong Siqin
✈ Lusaka and Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia
" I would say Zambia is orange. The African continent gives me a feeling of sunshine, vitality, and overflowing enthusiasm."

During the study trip in Zambia, the achievements and contributions of Chinese-funded enterprises impressed me deeply. As a model project of Sino-Zambian cooperation under the "Belt and Road Initiative," the Lower Kafue Gorge Hydropower Station has brought sufficient electricity to Zambia, which previously suffered a severe lack of power. It even exports electricity to neighboring countries, allowing me to deeply feel the achievements of the "Belt and Road Initiative."
